1. Formula characteristics of images of rubber seals: 
(1) Made of EPDM imported from Japan Synthetic Rubber Company;
(2) Adopting Peroxide vulcanization system to keep relative small compression permanent set;
(3) Properly filling optimized carbon black to get great sealing performance and reduce SF6 gas penetration, meeting the 5-hour bandage test. SF6 leakage less than 15ppm;
(4) Excellent weatherability, working well in temperature of -45 °C to 120 °C;
(5) Proper hardness and excellent mechanical properties;
(6) Excellent acid and alkali resistance,heat resistance.
 
2. Service life of images of rubber seals:

The sealing ring is mainly used in HV switch sealing in transformer substation. The service life can be up to 55.6 years as tested by Northwest Rubber & Plastics Research Institute.
